On 31 August 2023 the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), the Customs Department, the Royal Thai Police, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC, a unit of the Royal Thai Army) and a few other government agencies jointly held a counterfeit goods destruction ceremony (officially called “the Destruction Ceremony of Intellectual Property Infringing Goods”) at the Royal Thai Army’s 7th Air Defense Regiment’s complex in Bangkok.
