Patent Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Patent Prosecution: Execute end-to-end patent prosecution. This includes analyzing official actions from the Thai Patent Office and drafting technical and legal arguments to overcome examiner objections.
• Client Counseling & Strategy: Advise clients on both the technical and legal aspects of patents, formulating strategic approaches and providing formal legal opinions.
• Litigation & Legal Support: Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal counsel, providing essential technical expertise and analytical support during IP litigation proceedings.

Required Qualifications:

• A strong academic background in Engineering, Science (preferably Biotechnology, Medical Devices or Bioinformatics), or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Thai.
• A service-minded attitude with a strong collaborative spirit and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous):

• Prior knowledge or practical experience in Patent Law and prosecution.
• An additional legal background or degree.
• A registered Thai Patent Agent License.
