Domnern Somgiat & Boonma is proud to have been selected as an official partner for the prestigious E-Transaction Law Moot Court Competition 2024, organized by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. This impactful event aimed to promote awareness and understanding of electronic transactions among students and the broader community.
The competition attracted 59 teams of law students from leading universities across Thailand, with rounds spanning written submissions, online presentations, and in-person arguments between 2 May and 2 August 2024. This structure provided participants with valuable experience in modern legal advocacy across different platforms.
Our firm’s contribution to this initiative included active involvement from two of our distinguished practitioners. Nathapong Tongkaew served as a program consultant and competition judge, while Juthatip Vejsureeyakul joined him in conducting specialized training sessions. Drawing from their extensive courtroom experience, they provided practical advocacy guidance to participating students.
This partnership with ETDA aligns with DS&B’s commitment to developing Thailand’s next generation of legal professionals, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of digital law and electronic transactions.
