Organized by the Faculty of Law, Prince of Songkla University to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Faculty, the PSU Law Moot Court Academy 2023 consists of a series of academic and practical events starting on June 17 and ending on August 18, 2023. There were two training sessions and three competition rounds. The competition was participated by 10 talented teams from many universities nationwide.

Nathapong Tongkaew (Partner) and Juthatip Vejsureeyakul (Senior Litigator) from Domnern Somgiat & Boonma are very honored to be invited to share their IP litigation experience, technique, and insight during the 3-hour online lecture to approximately 100 law students from various law schools. The firm also supported the competition by preparing very challenging moot court questions involving various complicated IP issues, including franchising, unfair contractual terms, passing-off, genericism, and three-dimensional marks. In addition, Nathapong and Juthatip served as the mentors for giving helpful comments and suggestions for the competitors during the 6-hour practical training session.

Nathapong was also among the three judges for the semi-final and the final rounds, which were held on-site at the campus and broadcast through the Faculty’s Facebook page with more than 9,000 live viewers.
